I'm finding the snap "magnetic" strength to be a little aggressive. Is there some way to set this. If not, can there be

LW 2015, SynthEyes, AE, Creative Suite, SONAR Platinum and all sorts of other diversions.

You can set snap distance in LWCAD Options panel.
Default value is 10 pixels.
