i went from lightwave 9.61 to lightwave 2018 and so for me, i have not had a situation where the installer actually worked for me.

it would be cool if the installer tried to identify the directories by itself but if it can't find them, it gave the user the ability to manually select the directories and then continue auto-setup.

manually installing isn't a huge deal but it does involve a few steps so it would be nice if the installer just worked like a script to automate that process.

Just recently we figure out that there are more types of LightWave installers.
And each is doing different records in OS registries.
We will add option to installer to set target LightWave folder.
