BIM Options when modelling

I have been looking at a lot of architecture videos online and wondering about adding a simple radio checkbox and value entry fields for cost calculation of basic primitives. Perhaps even a selector that could asses the volume and cost per cubic unit of a given solid. Ok thank you smile

Please give me some simple example.

I will be rebuilding dimensions system very soon, so I might implement some more statistic options.
But it need to be useful and simple.

I have been looking into the phenomenology of BIM or building information model standards and have found that a lot of architects do not really know how they have been using it. There are a lot of official sources that set standards where that is concerned. There are different levels as well as stages of compliance that seem a bit exhaustive when talking about adding a few features to this program.

What I have always thought and now realize is that some of the Archviz features could follow in the footsteps of your work on the "stair" feature. For example something that might bring BIM standards closer to LWCAD might be an option for crossbeams on roofing or leafing layers on the walls feature. Like most 3D programs it's a simple matter of drawing people in with "impressive" features that seem to cut through the BS.

I also found a database of BIM comliant models for download mostly in the Revit ArchiCAD and ifc format. Looking at those to get a few ideas in the BIMVision app.
