Just wanted to say thanks for the bug fixes and brilliant new tools!
5.5 is fantastic!
Great product and support!

Hello Viktor, first of all congratulations for the creation of the plugin for Max, if it works correctly this plugin for me will be an incredible tool, but (there is always a but) I am testing it on 3ds Max 2018 and it is extremely slow, I'll give you an example when I create rails, simple the viewport becomes almost impossible to move and is not precise, you have to convert them to editable mesh

FYI - I have one authorized paid license of the latest version of LWCAD which allows me to also take part in the LWCAD beta trials as further developments continue.
I currently have LWCAD (the latest beta version) installed in more than 1 version of one application (Cinema 4D - Versions 18 & 19) on one system (Mac OS X - 10.13). Is it possible to use LWCAD in each Cinema 4D application w
Having just transferred my licenses to the new website (really nice, by the way), I downloaded the 5.25 version from the emailed link.
Having clicked I Agree, I get next the panel that says Quick Install Settings:, but there is nothing in the panel - the only thing I can click is the Back button.
This is on Windows 10 64bit.
I already have LWCAD 5 installed but can I also install LWCAD5.25 beta without uninstalling version 5?
This is on LightWave 15.3 64 bit
Hi
When you have Center snap set in the snapping panel and you draw a line to a rectangle object it won't snap to the center of the object. It works for curves, Circles and Polygons but not for the rectangle tool.
Steps
Draw a rectangle
Make sure center snap is activated in the snap panel
Draw a line to the center of the rectangle it won't snap to the center.
Just tested it in V4.51
I'm finding the snap "magnetic" strength to be a little aggressive. Is there some way to set this. If not, can there be
Hi All ,
i am still using Lightwave 11.5 and have a licensed Copy of LwCad v 4.5
i want to install LWCAD 4.5 but i cant find the Installer anymore the link from the Purchase Email is broken and i have no Money to either upgrade Lightwave or LWCAD.
Is there any Chance to get a working version of LWCAD 4.5
thanks in advantage and HAPPY SUNDAY
Maybe I'm not getting how this works, and I'll admit I miss the simplicity and reliability of the old Vector Clone tool.
The thing I have the biggest problem with is cloning an object in the scene, but finding that I cannot adjust what face and point on the object I need to have aligned with the line. The fixed point where an object is cloned to the line is the centre of the bottom edge of t

Hi
I bought a model from a third party that was almost all tri's. When subdivided, it caused lots of non smooth surfaces, so I manually removed the 'extra' diagonal, to form tri's.
Easy but time consuming - Is there a tool/algorithm or easy way to this?
I didn't find the right solution from the internet.

I just thought I would mention that in the most recent LWCAD newsletter I received it says a 2nd developer has now been hired and one of his jobs will be "porting LWCAD to other 3D applications". I'm hoping that it means LWCAD tools will be ported to Modo in the future. What do you think?

Often I get DWG plans from architects which have a lot of overlapping lines, meaning lines that sit on top of each other but don't share the end points, one is longer than the other. Curvs to surf command gets confused by this and it doesn't produce a good polygonal model. How to deal with this issue prior to curvs to surf command. I can fix this individualy with trim or sometimes the bool comman
Good news Viktor, Thanks for everything, and good job...

Hello guys!
Because some people are getting a wrong idea that we are drifting from LightWave,
I have decided that it is right time to inform you about our current status and our long term plans with LWCAD specially LigthWave version.
LWCAD LITE(Max,C4d) versus LWCAD (LightWave).
As you have noticed we are heavily updating LWCAD Lite version while LW version seems to be dormant. This
I notice in the system requirements for LWCAD Lite it mentions r17 for Windows and r18 for OSX but not r17 for OSX. Is it in fact incompatible with that version? If so, are there any plans to make it available for r17 OSX? Thanks.
I can't seem to find a rail clone tool in LWCAD 5.2. There is a tool to clone an item when you draw a curve but I want to clone an item on the existing curve which sits in the background.
The latest OS X installer doesn't seem to work - I just a black panel with no options. Anyone else using this on C4D?
Viktor, was just curious as to whether you are thinking about the possibility of the Library supporting UVs for its stored shapes.
I guess I'm trying to get my head around how the Library can be leveraged e.g. in a game asset production workflow, where the alternative might be creating an ordinary on-disk library of pre-built meshes that are already UV unwrapped and then with the possibility

Firstly, thanks so much for taking the time to port your architecturally focused suite in to C4D. We are sketchup / C4D architectural visualisers so its always great to see more related tools out there. I've watched some of the tutorials for LWCAD Lite and had a go with the final beta yesterday.
Some really good stuff in there but I have a few requests - many of which im sure are coming as I
Здравствуйте. Будет ли версия LwCad для Cinema 4d под macOS?
Just downloaded trai. and I am having some issues.
I am using winows 10 3d max 2016.
The UCS auto snapping is not working. I followed your tutorial on making wall and a second floor then a roof.
The roof did not snap to the second floor. UCS would not update.
Then I tried just using the primitive boxes and adding more boxes on top. Again UCS would not update.
I have UCS set t
Perhaps someone can help me with the pipe tool. I am not new to LWCAD, but never really used the pipe tool before.
I cannot get the pipe tool to draw around corners?
Example, take a cube, start drawing on one plane or face then click on the next plane or face, in this case 90 degrees to the original. I will not turn. Always stays on the original plane. Tried resetting the tool, reinstalling
I used to use this tool up to I believe version 5.1, but it has disappeared in the 5.2 update. I had assumed it had been incorporated into another tool as others have been, but I can't find out where or how it works now.
The on-line help menu makes no mention of it and the 5.2 new features video on YouTube stops short of addressing it. I did discover that the Line Clone Tool has options for a
The current OpenGL button are hard to see on a grey backdrop and hi-res display. I suggest giving us the ability to change the text size (as well as the button size) and also pick colours we like, rather than just use red and green (neither of which works that well on a mid-grey canvas).
Also, when you click the '2D' OGL button it disappears, rather than change colour and remains as a toggle

Mac OS Sierra - Cinema 4D R18 - LWCAD Plug-In Error Message while starting Cinema 4D. I can no longer use Cinema 4D because it will not load completely after LWCAD error message appears.
How do I uninstall LWCAD so that Cinema 4D no longer crashes at statrtup?
I've noticed that when using the Shingle tool on roofs with concave slopes, like screengrab, the slope component of a roof does not show; it only works on convex roofs.
Would it be possible to allow the slope component to also work on concave slope joins please? Or have I missed something?
In my case, Classical Roman buildings would frequently have arcade roofs like this, and would have
Creating a road center-line is fairly simple but could be improved. (way better than native tools) That got me thinking about the more general case of lines that are tangent to circular arcs. The type of curve I am talking about is a series of straight segments and arc segments that always have the characteristic of being tangent and the arc segments are circular arcs.
I have tried creat
I just recently got LWCAD but it seems I've broken it. All of the curves are displaying as straight lines. See the attached screenshots for the error:
New LWCad User here...
I've created a fairly simple building from a floor plan and added some windows to it. But, the windows I created last week only show up as holes in the walls in LW. The ones I created yesterday show up in Modeler and LW though. I don't think I created them as instances last week, but maybe did? Is there anyway to tell? A simple way to convert them to polys if I did
